I forgot how maddening Mass Effect can be at times.
It loves to put you somewhere different/facing a different direction after a cutscene introducing whatever thing is about to immediately kill you with lasers while you’re trying to get your bearings back so you can make it to cover.

I started my second playthrough of Mass Effect last night. William “Billy” Shepard is a dorky sole survivor spacer engineer. He’ll be Paragon and is gay, so he gets no lovin’ until the third game.
Haha, my first Shep would hate him. Ava is a ruthless colonist adept, and Renegade who started out as just an asshole but kind of morphed into a jerk with a heart of gold. She hooked up with Liara in the first game to take out her frustrations that she couldn’t be with Garrus, then was all up on dat turian ass in the second game. Aaaand I still haven’t played Mass Effect 3 yet. I have to go back and redo a bit of 2 so that no one dies at the end, if possible.
